A downloadable dice game

Zeus has punished you and your friends to push cursed boulders up a hill for all eternity. Who will endure the longest and make “Sisyphus Happy?”

SISYPHUS is a game that only uses a set of Standard Polyhedral dice to play! This game is designed to be a standalone multiplayer game, but DMs have flocked to it as a way to incorporate punishment minigames into their D&D campaigns! This can also be played as a single-player game!

A little about the creator (me!): I started this project after having a collection of polyhedral dice and nothing to do with them, as I currently do not play any TTRPGs. I felt there was an opportunity to treat polyhedral dice the same way we treat playing cards or six-sided dice. So, I set out to develop new FREE games that can be played with minimal pieces outside of the dice themselves. You can find me on TikTik @nice.dice.games to check for daily updates on new projects, and tweaks on past games!

The only change I would make is for victory to be based on the number of steps you take, because in the current version you can just choose to Work Harder forever and never run out of dice due to exhaustion. Other than that, good shit.

Are you truly re-enacting Sisyphus's struggle if you don't use a chonk D20 and mini dice? Game is a fun little activity, but I have to wonder if there's any reason to not use D4/D6, D8/D10, and D10/D12 pairs?

Love the picture!! Single player definitely needs some retooling. The game shines as a multiplayer game, because you can use different combinations to set a better pace than your opponents. For single player, there is no reason not to “Work Harder” all the way to 20 and hope for a good roll. Maybe a turn counter would help? Let me know what you (and anyone reading this) think!
